gsa donates books to the homes
The U.S. General Services Administration has graciously donated 1,500 copies if its book World War II Memorial to the Veterans Homes Foundation, for distribution to the libraries in State Veterans Homes.
The book reflects on the design and construction of the World War II Memorial, which was dedicated on the National Mall on May 29, 2004. The book also contains a stunning pictorial essay. The World War II Memorial is now one of the most visited sites in the Washington D.C. area.
Extra copies of this book are available to Veteran Home residents. Home administrators should send a request to the Foundation office.
