Professional Association Membership
In 2003, the leaders of both the Veterans Homes Foundation and the Veterans Homes Association decided that the professional development needs of Home administrators would be well-served by year-round educational offerings - to compliment the programs offered at NASVH annual meetings.
The Foundation currently offers all interested administrators cost-free memberships in the American College of Health Care Administrators. ACHCA is a national leader in long term care education, offering non-traditional/on-line study which leads to educational credit, professional certification and college degrees. It also maintains a vast professional library at its website, including reference material frequently used by practitioners. Its newsletter and publications also provide members with valuable information regularly.
