How to Help

charitable bequest

Benefit Your Loved Ones
Your will or living trust can be a creative vehicle for making thoughtful gifts. After providing for the needs of your loved ones, you can make a charitable bequest to the Armed Forces Veterans Homes Foundation of a dollar amount, a property, a percentage of your estate, or what is left after others have been taken care of. An attorney can add a simple codicil to your will to make your wishes clear. Similar arrangements may be made for a living trust.

The following is suggested language for a charitable gift or bequest for use by your attorney:
Suitland, Maryland, the sum of $ _________or percentage of (cash, ownership in real property or personal property herein described) to be used for the general purpose of the Armed Forces Veterans Homes Foundation, Inc. at the discretion of its Board of Directors."
